Membership categories

Fellows: A Fellow Member is any individual in good standing who has successfully acquired fellowship status with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or the Society of Actuaries or who, in the opinion of the Council possesses an equivalent and reputable actuarial qualification from a member of the International Actuarial Association.

Associates: An Associate Member is any individual in good standing who has successfully acquired associateship status with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or the Society of Actuaries or who, in the opinion of the Council possesses an equivalent and reputable actuarial qualification from a member of the International Actuarial Association.

Students: A Student Member is any individual pursuing actuarial examinations with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or the Society of Actuaries or an equivalent and reputable actuarial examining body that is a member of the International Actuarial Association.
